Elder and Sister Roberts: A Mighty Change of Heart at the Zone Conference in Urdaneta

Dear Family and Friends,

We had the wonderful opportunity of attending Mission Zone Conference and listening to talks from our Mission President Monahan and his wife Sister Monahan and other invited speakers.
The Theme was A Mighty Change of Heart

President Monahan counseled us to have unshaken faith in Jesus Christ.

Mosiah 5:7 And now, because of the covenant which ye have made ye shall be called the children of Christ, his sons, and his daughters; for behold, this day he hath spiritually begotten you; for ye say that your hearts are changed through faith on his name; therefore, ye are born of him and have become his sons and his daughters.

Mosiah 5:12 I say unto you, I would that ye should remember to retain the name written always in your hearts, that ye are not found on the left hand of God, but that ye hear and know the voice by which ye shall be called, and also, the name by which he shall call you.

And Sister Roberts favorite scripture from the Bible was quoted:

There was also a great role play by the Office Missionaries that showed 2 Missionaries walking along to a discussion appt, but above their heads was a poster "balloon image with the words,, I only have 2 months left".   Then they were sitting in the family's home during the discussion, but their sidetracked minds were shown in the "balloon poster image " above their heads. They were not concentrating on duties as a Representative of Jesus Christ. It was very effective to teach us to be exactly obedient.
