Dear Family and Friends
We love our Missionaries, our young Elders and Sisters. They are so courageous in their testimonies of Jesus Christ and his Gospel.
To make things a little easier in daily living for them, we have apartment checks with them. We seem to notice some things that they feel are ok, but we feel it could be improved for them.
As we traveled up the coastline to visit them, we saw this vendor with his cart of baskets...
and this sweet old Lola (Grama) crossing the road.
Interesting Church Buildings of other faiths
With fun statues
Fine Missionaries
Sister Roberts had fun on the stairway
We went to other apartment checks with great Zone Leaders.
After song and prayer and message, we ask the other Missionaries, is everything ok in your apt?
Oh yes Elder Roberts.
But the last Elder got transferred, and he took a key with him. So we only have one key for the 4 Elders here.
MMMM,,, ok,, how is the door knob working? "Not very well Elder Roberts" they said.
So we gave them a new door knob.
On our way we saw...
A colorful college dorm across the meadow...
The Shopping Mall in Byambang
There is the Mega Stake Center that will be finished in one month.
Next is the Malimpec Church, literally out in the wilderness. The building extends way past the trees behind it.
This little Church in Balite Sur is directed by a sign to go down the pathway turning right..
Yes, it is the white building in back.
It actually has a Chapel and 6 rooms.
It was a beautiful day.
Another drive,,,
More great Missionaries to visit
Other apartments are way nice.
Some have great views from the upstairs apts.
The Zone Leaders get a treat to go to dinner with us.
We
went to Chow King and ordered the Chicken special. The counter staff
said sorry, we are out of fried Chicken. ok then, sweet and sour
Chicken, - no we're out of that, too. We settled for fried breaded
pork.
Another day we visited another District Missionary Mtg. The Church Building had its own "natural lawn maintenance".
There were wonderful lessons on Companionship Unity. They taught us from Preach My Gospel book,
Support your Companion by offering a 2nd witness to the truths of which they have testified. When you speak, maintain eye contact with the member or investigator. When not speaking, pray for your Companion.
They remind us to increase our testimonies of Jesus Christ by reading the Book of Mormon. Elder and Sister Roberts are in Alma 5.
We are doing our best to support each other as Missionary Companions and Married Couple.
The Missionaries are great and good friends, too.
We did another Apartment Check.
Beautiful landscaping here at this apt.
Ready to go to work
Elder Roberts loves horses. Our family has 15 at home. He saw this on the regular road and called out to me - take this picture !
This Sister Trainer showed us a great apron from her last transfer.
Nice sunset on the way home.
Sometimes we see Angels on the road.
More Pics of Apartment checks and District Mtgs.
They try to keep us cool to visit.
We have a Spiritual thought first
The unused bunkbed is a great clothes drying rack.
Some were waiting for their Visas to clear to return to original Mission to India.
Happy Zone Leaders and Sisters.
District Mtg from earlier area.
We love our Urdaneta Missionaries!
Our President Deyro says to us ..Please Please send us More Sr. Couple Missionaries to Urdaneta Philippines Mission!
We only have 2 Couples and the Roberts (us) are going home with no knowlege of more coming.
The other Sr. Couple here doesn't visit Missionaries and Members, they give classes on Self Reliance.
We love and care for the Young Missionaries and love the Members.
Thank you Heavenly Father for these great life and spiritual experiences
Love,
Elder and Sister Roberts
